Lucy AAC is dedicated to delivering air transfers for seriously ill babies and children up to the age of 16 in the UK who require an elective (planned) transfer service. We do so by working closely with the NHS and our preferred air charter partner Capital Air Ambulance, the largest provider of air ambulance services in the UK.
Established in 2010 in response to an urgent need for an air transfer service for seriously ill children.
The first transfer took place in 2011 and since then the Trustees have ensured that strong governance has put the Charity on a sound footing and in 2015 they were able to take the next step in its development, employing a Chief Executive and staff team to further grow the Charity with the ultimate goal that all seriously ill children who require air transfer will be able to access this both quickly and easily.
Group Chairman, Kevin Rochay is a Patron of this Charity.
